  • Lead the design and implementation of manufacturing and assembly processes that optimise production and meet target specifications
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production and quality teams to identify opportunities for process improvements
  • Conduct detailed analysis to evaluate the manufacturability and assembly feasibility of new product designs
  • Develop and maintain engineering documentation, work instructions and standard operating procedures
  • Provide technical expertise and training to manufacturing personnel to ensure adherence to processes and quality standards
  • Monitor production metrics and KPIs to identify areas for continuous improvement
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest manufacturing trends, technologies and best practices

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in a design for manufacturing and assembly role, preferably in the manufacturing, transport and logistics industry.
  • Safety Certified, minimum BizSafe Level 2
  • Experience in construction materials manufacturing
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing innovative manufacturing and assembly processes
  • Proficient in process design, industrial engineering, and operations management
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Design or a related field
