Our client, a well-known Japanese company is looking for candidates for the position of IT System Administrator.

IT System Administrator monitor and maintain the computer systems and IT documentations. He/She will install and
configure computer systems, diagnose hardware and software faults and solve technical and applications problems.
IT System Administrator are mainly responsible for the smooth running of computer systems and ensuring users get
maximum benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications.
  • Applying operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes.
  • Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
  • Replacing parts as required.
  • Setting up new users' accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues.
  • Supporting the roll-out of new applications;
  • Assisting with backup/recovery duties including testing of Backups and disaster recovery plans.
  • Assisting with the development and dissemination of IT security awareness and reporting of security risks.
  • Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports.
  • Performing routine audit of systems and software to pre-empt potential issues from occurring.
  • Working continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate).
  • Prioritising and managing many open cases at one time.
  • Rapidly establishing a good working relationship with colleagues.
  • Testing and evaluating new technology.
  • Depend on the nature of the work, may be expected to work extra hours to finish a job.

Requirements:

  • Degree or IT related qualifications
  • Preferably with 3‐5 years IT related working experience
  • Knowledge in any of the following desirable:
    • Windows 10 and 11 Pro
    • MS Office 2019 / 365
    • Google Workspace
  • Preferably with experience in SAP B1 environment
  • Able to self-manage assigned tasks and responsibilities and work effectively within a high-pressure Team environment
