Job Description
- Assist the Project Manage to identify any unsafe condition in the worksite or unsafe work practice in the worksite
- Assist to implement reasonably practicable measures to remedy the unsafe condition or unsafe work practice
- Check compliance of Sub-Contractors' safety documents and work to ensure compliance with the WSH Act and its subsidiary legislations, including the provisions of the WSH (Construction) Regulations
- Carry out site WSHE programmes, procedures and assist in organising WSHE awareness activities such as tool-box meetings, WSHE orientation, WSHE induction, promotional activities, etc.
- Monitor risk assessment compliance and report to Project Manager for any non-compliance
- Ensure risk assessment control measures are implemented for all site activities
- Be prepared to stop work or to notify the WSHE Department in the event of any WSHE deviations
- Value Add of Position:- In-depth knowledge of WSHE legal guidelines to advise and facilitate site activities
- Liaise with the authorities and clients on all WSH issues
Requirements
- Minimum WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace, Safety and Health (Level B) as stipulated in the Singapore Ministry of Manpower’s accepted WSH-related qualifications.
- Minimum 5 years of building experience as WSHE Coordinator
- Certification in Lifting Supervisors Safety Course
- Certification in Supervision of Metal Scaffold Erection Course
