The role

The Human Resources Training and Development Manager will be responsible of the overall organizational development needs and creating impactful learning strategies that foster growth across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities:

1. Onboarding Strategy:

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve the onboarding program to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the company culture. To ensure new hires understand their roles and have the tools they need to succeed from day one.
  • Work with managers to ensure a smooth transition for new employees into their roles.
  • Conduct orientation sessions and provide necessary resources and support successful onboarding.

2. Training and Development:

  • Assess Training Needs: By conducting regular assessments to identify skills gaps and training needs within the organization. Utilize a variety of learning methods, such as in-person training, e-learning, and blended solutions, to ensure effective learning experiences.
  • Develop Learning Strategies: Design and implement learning strategies and programs tailored to the needs of employees within the organization. That includes positions from corporate, clinical, and training academy.
  • Support Employee Engagement: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as needed.

3. Career Development:

  • Collaborate with managers to assist in career pathing and develop tailored plans to support employees’ growth and advancement within the organization
  • Assist in conducting and provide regular career development discussions.

4. Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure proper tracking, reporting, and documentation of training activities funded by government grants to comply with regulations and funding requirements.
  • Identify and apply for grants to support training and development initiatives.
  • Handle employer’s grant submission to support training and development initiatives
  • Well verse and stay-up-to date on government training grants for employers. Such as SSG, WDG and or other government training grants available.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Education, or a related field.
  • Certified Professional in Training Management (CPTM) is a bonus
  • Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) is a bonus.
  • 8-10 years hands-on in-house Human Resource Learning and Development, Organization and Development experience.
  • Experience in a Healthcare, Community Care, Social service or Non-Profit Organization is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of learning methodologies and adult learning principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate employees at all levels.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in leadership development and career pathing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate program effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in software tools such as MS Office, Learning Management Systems (LMS), Arclab, Canva.
  • Knowledge of HR best practices and trends in Training, Organization Development topics.
  • Demonstrated past success in planning and executing e-learning Programmes.

We offer a competitive base salary range of SGD $5500 to $7000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
