Responsibilities

  • Assessing Vehicle Damage: Evaluating the extent of damage to a vehicle’s body panels, frames, and structures.
  • Repairing or Replacing Panels: Fixing dents, scratches, and structural damage by repairing or replacing damaged panels (doors, roofs, bumpers, etc.).
  • Welding and Shaping: Using tools to weld, cut, and reshape metal to restore the vehicle's original shape.
  • Sanding and Smoothing: Preparing surfaces by sanding and smoothing them for painting.
  • Fitting and Aligning Parts: Ensuring that repaired panels and parts are properly aligned and fitted.
  • Painting: Sometimes applying primer and working with spray painters to repaint the repaired areas.
  • Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees
  • Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
  • Oversee and coach employees
  • Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements
  • Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards
