Role Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Event Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of events at Mama Shelter Singapore. The ideal candidate will ensure exceptional guest experiences, maintain high service standards, and lead a dedicated team in delivering Mama Shelter's renowned hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
Event Planning: Develop, plan, and execute a variety of events, including corporate functions, private parties, and in-house promotions, ensuring alignment with Mama Shelter's brand and standards.
Client Relations: Liaise with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing tailored solutions and maintaining strong relationships to encourage repeat business.
Team Coordination: Lead and coordinate with internal teams, including F&B, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless event execution.
Budget Management: Prepare and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining high-quality standards.
Vendor Management: Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with external vendors and suppliers to secure necessary services and materials for events.
Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to promote events, develop promotional materials, and enhance brand visibility.
Post-Event Evaluation: Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback, assess success, and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in event management, preferably within the hospitality industry.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire a diverse team, with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Customer Focus: Exceptional interpersonal skills with a passion for delivering memorable guest experiences.
Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations with grace.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
Knowledge: Familiarity with local health and safety regulations, as well as current event management trends.
Education: Diploma or degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
