Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager with a strong background in capital markets to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a CFA charter holder or working towards the CFA designation.
This role involves managing various initiatives, programs, and events that support our members and the broader investment community.
Additionally, the Manager will lead thought-leadership engagement with key stakeholders, achieving higher profile and recognition of the CFA charter and a rise in ethical and professional standards in Singapore. Knowledge of the Financial Services Industry Transformation Map is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage programs and events that enhance the professional development of our members.
- Collaborate with industry professionals and stakeholders including regulators and academia to identify and address the needs of the capital markets community.
- Oversee the planning and execution of educational workshops, seminars, and conferences.
- Manage relationships with sponsors, partners, and volunteers.
- Provide support and guidance to candidates pursuing the CFA designation.
- Monitor industry trends and developments to ensure our programmes remain relevant and impactful.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the Society's strategic plan.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
- CFA charter holder preferred; candidates actively pursuing the CFA designation will also be considered.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in capital markets or a related field.
- Strong understanding of the capital markets industry and its trends.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
