We are representing our client, a well-established International Mechanical and Electrical Engineering consulting company that specializes in providing building services engineering across multiple sectors (including Industrial, Healthcare, Residential, Commercial, Hospitality, and Retail).

We are seeking suitable candidates for the role of Electrical Engineer.

Electrical Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:

· Contribute to the design, planning, and implementation of electrical systems for various projects, including potential involvement in data centre projects, ensuring compliance with client specifications, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.

· Participate in the installation, commissioning, and testing of electrical systems, including power distribution, UPS systems, and backup solutions.

· Collaborate with project teams to integrate electrical systems with other building services, such as mechanical and HVAC systems.

· Develop detailed electrical schematics, drawings, and documentation.

· Ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

· Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and advancements in electrical engineering.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

· Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer in consulting field.

· Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution, UPS systems, grounding, lighting, and backup power solutions.

· Familiarity with relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP).

· Experience with HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems and power and cooling requirements in data centres.

· Proven experience working in complex, multi-disciplinary project teams, and managing relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.

· Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other disciplines.

· Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

· Experience in data centre design is an advantage.

· Knowledge of data centre energy efficiency considerations and sustainability practices is preferred.

Salary : Remuneration will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Working hours: 4.5 days’ work week
