
Service Engineer - Electrical
We are looking for Service Engineers for commissioning, troubleshooting and repair of marine/ship propulsion equipment. Qualified candidates should have hands-on experience with marine electronics and automation systems.
Responsibilities and Duties:
· Participate in the commissioning of the equipment and provide on-site training to the customers
· Perform Maintenance, inspection, repair, trouble shooting ensuring optimal equipment functionality
· Determine the extent of damage and repairs in case of warranty
· Identify the causes and undertake error diagnostics for propulsion systems with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical components
· Carry out modifications with ease and confidence
· Prepare detailed service reports, including job progress, travel time, and technical recommendations, and coordinate with team members to achieve results.
· Make sure that the company workshop is well maintained
You should be prepared to work in a shop environment, in shipyards or on board of ships.
International traveling in the region is required. You should be able to handle work situations under time constraint, acting as the on-site expert with our customers.
Suitable candidates should hold an engineering degree in the fields of marine, automation and electronics or mechatronics engineering. Candidates with equivalent professional background will be considered.
