We are seeking an experienced Lead Social Worker, who will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction and impact of social work in Trybe Limited. Your role involves a blend of hands-on support, strategic planning, mentorship, and advocacy.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee clinical supervision and facilitate professional practice in the organisation

  • Lead social service practice within the organisation and ensure alignment with sector standards and relevant code of ethics
  • Cultivate and build a culture of learning and continuous improvements among social service practitioners
  • Set up and oversee the clinical framework, structure, supervision and processes for all services and programmes
  • Chart and implement overall professional development plan for social service practitioners within the organisation to grow their competencies to deliver quality service to clients
  • Carry out regular review to ensure that the professional development plan is relevant to meet the needs of the organisation and staff, and effective in achieving its goals
  • Facilitate professional learning sessions among social work teams which includes case discussions, presentation of cases, tapes, discussion of professional issues faced by caseworkers
  • Provide internal clinical supervision for social service practitioners, where necessary
  • Develop curriculum and deliver training programmes, where relevant, to equip internal staff, as well as other social service professionals in the sector
  • Bring in subject matter experts/consultants, where necessary, to strengthen professional development
  • Provide guidance for the planning for formal training courses and development opportunities for the social service practitioners in the organisation
  • Keep abreast of current developments and trends, and apply domain knowledge to trends within the social sector
  • Contribute to social work education on related topics i.e., working with children and youth
  • Ensure work goals are aligned with Company goals, and be responsible in achieving Company Goals

2. Guide and support programme development and implementation

  • Support the management in the development and implementation of new programmes, where relevant, to address and/or bridge service gaps in the sector
  • Audit, evaluate and modify delivery of services at organisation level to ensure practice framework and programmes meet the needs of the clients and stakeholders
  • Provide consultation on, and review effectiveness of, casework, and group work interventions in the organisation
  • Provide guidance on crisis management approaches

Technical Competencies

  • Proven experience in working with youths and managing trauma-related cases
  • Possess good knowledge and experiences with social work interventions, social policies and community engagement
  • Good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
