Seeking a Dynamic Business Development Manager to Drive Growth
This is a hunting role and we are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our team and play a crucial role in achieving our customer acquisition and revenue growth goals.
We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. In this dynamic hunting role, you will play a pivotal part in driving our customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.
In this role, you will:
- Acquire and build new customer pipeline: Utilize your selling, marketing, planning skills via contacts established from past connections, cold calling, LinkedIn, and other channels and resources to develop new customers in the APAC region.
- Craft compelling proposals and quotations: Analyze client needs and translate them into winning proposals and quotations that secure new client partnerships.
- Negotiate and close deals: Participate in bids , confidently negotiate win-win business deals that mutually benefit both parties.
- Build and manage client relationships: Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with existing and new clients, ensuring high standards of client satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand our client base in APAC region.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, with a focus on market research agencies and consulting firms. Preference would given to candidates who have contacts and knowledge in market research industry particularly
- Provide insights and data to APAC companies looking to expand globally, supporting their decision-making processes.
- Manage and respond to inquiries from potential clients, providing detailed information about our services.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and potential growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales materials, presentations, and proposals.
- Lead the entire sales process, from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing deals.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, preparing regular reports for the management team.
- Stay updated with industry trends, developments, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify business risks and opportunities.
- Potential for business trips to APAC once a month.
Requirements and Skills:
-Languages: Business-level proficiency and fluency in Mandarin and English (both written and spoken). Candidates with other Asian language proficiency such as Korean, Bahasa Indonesia would be highly considered.
-Possess at least 3 years of sales experience in Market Research industry.
*Preference would given to candidates who have contacts and experience in market research sales in the APAC region.
-Possess at least 5 years of B to B sales experience (for those without experience in relevant industry)
-Willingness to travel at least once a month.
