Job Description
- Liaise with customer, design team and supplier to improve plastic part design and manufacturability.
- Participate in pFMEA activities to mitigate risks arising from plastic manufacturing process.
- Participate in product transfer activities or new project.
- Investigate and resolve process, equipment and part issues.
- Develops manufacturing processes for new products, equipment and set-up.
- Perform equipment qualification and process validation.
- Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Implement Engineering changes for improvements (process, NCR, CAPA, complaints).
- Generate and release technical documents (e.g. BOM, work instructions, Route card).
- Conduct training for shopfloor personnel.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Engineering or equivalent. ACT(or equivalent) Certified is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience
- Knowledge in plastic molding and plastic material properties.
- Knowledge of extrusion process is an added advantage.
- Able to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Problem-solving skill.
- Good communication and presentation skill.
