We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Sales Distribution Strategy and Operations Manager.
Principal Responsibilities
- Support collaboration with IWPB lines of business (Private Bank, Retail Bank, Insurance, Investment Wealth Solutions and Customer International Marketing) and within IWPB distribution channels, to ensure alignment and delivery of financial goals and operational strategies
- Strategize and translate initiatives into an operating plan which involves review of the FTE capacity, incentive framework, leads quality, sales conversion rates in order to drive adoption and success
- Lead distribution-wide projects that drive synergy and operational efficiency and ensure business readiness across the sales channels
- Actively participate in and support ad hoc projects including strategic reviews, planning, management information (MI), and governance
- Constantly review sales processes and seek alternatives to increase efficiency and/or reduce operational costs
- Optimize the usage of sales tools and capabilities to support business growth.
- Continuously identify, share and inject local and global best practices to improve and innovate sales activity management
- Influence and progressively educate stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in to business strategy and implementation plan
- Engage in regular reviews within Distribution teams to identify key risks, issues and interdependencies around sales governance
- Determine and apply appropriate mitigation strategies to balance sales governance and delivery of business objectives
- Ensure regular and positive engagement with key support functions such as Risk, Compliance and HR Implementation of Global Standards, Financial Crime Compliance and Risk policies / requirements
- Partner with Distribution sales and business planning teams on strategic planning to support delivery of key business objectives
- Oversee portfolio discipline through deep dive analysis to support strategic recommendations and improve portfolio quality, sales productivity and wealth penetration
- Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in strategy, operations, or sales management, preferably within banking, financial services, or insurance sectors
- Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams and driving operational efficiency across sales and business operations
- Experience in managing large-scale projects and initiatives with a focus on sales governance and financial performance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in sales performance analysis and portfolio management
- In-depth understanding of sales processes, incentive structures, and sales conversion metrics
- Ability to optimize the use of sales tools and technology to drive business growth and efficiency
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, risk management, and global standards in financial services
- Proficiency in using business management and reporting software (e.g., Excel, CRM tools, BI tools)
- Strategic thinker with a keen eye for operational improvement and cost management
- Highly organized with a strong ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
- Results-oriented with a focus on driving business goals and continuous improvement
- Adaptable and able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
