Senior Corporate Executive - Legal & Compliance - Budgeting
Job Description:
- Help update and maintain company management guidelines based on changes in law and regulations.
- Ensure group companies follow these guidelines through regular checks.
- Support the approval system for important business decisions (e.g., director changes, investments, dividends).
- Assist in updating corporate profiles for the group companies.
- Help establish procedures to track group companies’ business operations and financial performance.
- Follow up on any deviations from the approved business plan.
- Maintain business reports and filing systems.
- Assist in preparing and verifying budgets, forecasts, and cost allocations.
- Monitor financial performance, comparing budgeted vs actual figures.
- Help manage and implement company policies, ensuring compliance.
- Assist in creating and delivering compliance training for employees.
- Organize and prepare minutes for meetings (e.g., Board of Directors, Shareholder meetings).
- Ensure proper filing of meeting minutes.
- Coordinate with external legal advisors.
- Assist in reviewing and tracking contracts and legal documents.
Job Requirement:
- Diploma or degree in business, corporate governance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years in corporate support, legal, or compliance roles (less experienced candidates are welcome).
- Familiarity with the Companies Act and regulations in Singapore.
- Good organization, attention to detail, ability to multitask, and a proactive attitude.
