As an Optician in this role, you will combine your technical expertise with exceptional customer service skills to provide expert support to our Wholesale customers. You will serve as a key point of reference for troubleshooting and resolving issues, ensuring customers receive the highest level of service and satisfaction.Main responsibilities
- Technical Expertise & Troubleshooting
- Serve as the go-to expert for troubleshooting technical product issues, offering expert advice to both customers and internal teams.
- Resolve product-related inquiries and issues with precision, leveraging your optician knowledge to provide solutions.
- Order Management
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all order details are cor-rect.
- Track orders from placement through to delivery, coordinating with logistics to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.
- Handle returns in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain comprehensive records of customer interactions, including inquiries, complaints, and resolutions, ensuring proper documentation for future reference.
- Customer Support
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat, offering expert advice and assistance.
- Address customer complaints and provide prompt, effective solutions, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Provide detailed information about products, services, and order status.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including E&M, logistics, and other departments, to resolve issues and ensure smooth service delivery.
- Sales Support
- Support the promotion of new products and services to customers, providing tech-nical guidance and product recommendations.
- Assist customers in understanding product features and benefits, fostering confidence in product purchases.
- Higher Nitec in Opticianry or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in customer service, preferably in an optician or retail setting.
- Strong technical knowledge of optical products and services.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Customer-focused with a passion for exceptional service.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively and efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks and effectively prioritizing workload.
- IT savvy with basic proficiency in Excel and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
