This role ensures smooth trade execution, risk monitoring, and regulatory compliance while supporting operational efficiency in bullion trading and investment activities.The business has products distributed globally across multiple jurisdictions via internal / external networks and entities. The Global Markets Product asset classes consist of FX, Rates and Credit, Global Capital Markets, Commodities and Structured Products. These products are distributed across a range of clients and across various locations.Role Type: Permanent, Full TimeWhat will your day look like?Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Work closely with bullion traders, client, and financial institutions to align logistics with trading activities.
  • Liaise with internal & external stakeholders, including refineries, vault operators, customs officials, and insurers.
  • Focusing mainly on post trade lifecycle issue management and support on behalf of the trading & Sales desk.
  • Developing internal controls for trade capture models, mitigating operational risks through a proactive approach. Documentation of procedures and controls across FO Support activities.
  • Monitor bullion trading positions, exposure, and limits in real-time. Coordinating the physical movement of precious metals and coordination with Logistics providers such as Bill of Lading (BOL), airway bills, and warehouse receipts.
  • Verify shipping documents, including invoices, certificates of authenticity, customs declarations, and insurance policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of metal movements, inventory levels, and trade settlements.
  • Supporting the growing markets business in Singapore and provide additional support to the global team and key stakeholders.
  • Reviewing current local & global markets processes, propose improvements, and ensure compliance with regulatory changes.
  • Ensuring controls and procedures are adhered to, and to keep abreast of regulatory changes and operational risks.
What will you bring?To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following -
  • Experience in logistics, commodities trading, or commodities operations preferred.
  • Excellent working knowledge of different asset classes (FICC).
  • Excellent knowledge of middle office processes and the Front Office trading system Murex. Knowledge of broker execution platforms will be advantageous.
  • Ability to be flexible in your daily work routine to cater to ad hoc investigations or reporting requirements. Ability to work on an individual basis but also to work as part of a bigger global team.
  • Ability to influence people to deliver outcomes, build strong working relationships within and across business units.
  • Strong customer service ethic, subject to maintaining internal controls.
