Job Description:The CompanyOur client is a leading US multinational in the manufacturing industry seeking an experienced Regional Financial Controller to oversee their finance and accounting operations across Southeast Asia.The RoleReporting to the Global Finance Director at HQ, you will lead a regional team and play a key role in financial planning, reporting, and strategic business support.
  • Lead the finance and accounting function across SEA, ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closing.
  • Work closely with local management teams to provide financial analysis, business insights, long-term planning, budgeting, pacing, and financial target setting.
  • Analyze actual vs. planned performance to drive operational and financial improvements.
  • Partner with HQ tax teams and local tax advisors to review transfer pricing strategies, mitigate risks, and identify opportunities.
  • Oversee statutory audits and liaise with external auditors and tax agents to ensure compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to local GAAP (Singapore & Malaysia) and corporate accounting policies.
  • Lead and develop a regional finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Your ProfileAs the successful candidate, you will possess a degree in Accountancy or ACCA with the following relevant experience:
  • At least 10 years of regional experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting operations (AP, AR, GL) and compliance with local GAAP (Singapore & Malaysia).
  • Experience working with operations and senior management to drive business performance.
  • Hands-on leadership style, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across different levels of the organization.
  • Prior managerial experience leading finance teams across multiple countries.
