We’re looking for a quick-witted copywriter to join the Gojek marketing team! In this role, you’ll be key in making sure our social media sounds like us, all while delivering original and engaging content our target audiences will want to come back for.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Creating content for Instagram and TikTok – including brainstorming, scripting, and simple management of a content calendar
- Organizing logistics for filming of content – e.g. talent coordination, venue sourcing
- Managing social media communities and ensuring a positive online presence by by engaging with audiences, responding to feedback, comments, and inquiries
- Staying updated with brand guidelines, style rules, and online trends
- Collaborating daily with creative and marketing teams to ensure cohesive, relevant messaging that emphasizes USPs and drive ride bookings
- Creating original narratives and writing ad copies for various channels when required, e.g. in-app messages, EDMs, blogs, and offline media
What we’d love to see:
- Impeccable English – both written and verbal
- A love for writing as a craft – there is rhyme and reason to every linguistic choice you make, and the fundamental understanding that language is fluid and malleable
- Experience and proven track record in translating complex messages into digestible content for different audiences
- The ability to work independently and keep yourself accountable
- Keen awareness of cultural zeitgeist and current discourse
- Bonus points for: fluency in Mandarin, and some disdain towards the use of generative AI (we want human voices for a human audience)
