- Strong interest in tax law, litigation and/or prosecution. • Excellent skills in legal research, writing and oral communication. • Rising 2nd, 3rd and 4th year law undergraduates and JD students studying for a recognised law degree (per the Legal Profession (Qualified Persons) Rules). • Singapore citizens or permanent residents only due to sensitive nature of the work. The internship will be for a period of 4 weeks in May to Aug 2025. IRAS is a prescribed statutory body under the Legal Profession (Prescribed Statutory Bodies and Law Offices in Public Service) Rules. Subject to conditions, qualifying law graduates may be able to serve their relevant legal training and practice training period in IRAS under the supervision of a relevant legal officer (as defined in the Legal Profession Act 1966).
