Job Description:The Senior Fundraising Manager is responsible for leading and implementing high-impact fundraising strategies to secure financial support for the organization. This role involves cultivating relationships with major donors, corporate sponsors, and grant-making bodies, overseeing large-scale fundraising campaigns, and managing a team of fundraising professionals.   • Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy to meet revenue goals.
  • Identify and cultivate new funding sources, including major gifts, corporate partnerships, grants, and planned giving.
  • Establish fundraising priorities and ensure alignment with the organization's strategic objectives.
Donor & Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with major donors, corporate sponsors, foundations, and key stakeholders.
  • Lead high-level donor stewardship efforts, including personalized engagement plans and recognition programs.
  • Represent the organization at networking events, conferences, and donor meetings.
Campaign & Event Management:
  • Oversee the planning and execution of large-scale fundraising campaigns and events.
  • Implement innovative fundraising initiatives, including digital campaigns, peer-to-peer fundraising, and legacy giving programs.
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to enhance fundraising visibility.
Grant Management & Proposal Development:
  • Research and secure major grants from foundations, government agencies, and philanthropic institutions.
  • Oversee the preparation of compelling grant proposals, reports, and funding applications.
  • Ensure compliance with funding requirements and maintain strong relationships with grant-making bodies.
Financial Oversight & Reporting:
  • Develop and manage fundraising budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Track and analyze fundraising performance, providing data-driven insights and reports to senior leadership and the board.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical fundraising guidelines.
Team Leadership & Development:
  • Lead, mentor, and support fundraising team members, volunteers, and external partners.
  • Work closely with other departments to align fundraising efforts with organizational objectives.
  • Provide training and capacity-building opportunities to strengthen fundraising expertise.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence in fundraising.
Administration and Operations:
  • Assist to oversee the fundraising department.
  • Draft and implement processes, workflow and SOPs for best practices in fundraising and donor relations.
  • Ensure compliance to donor intent and data protection in gift administration.
  • Plan and manage budget for events / activities.
  • Coordinate and draft minutes for quarterly Fundraising Committee meetings, when necessary.
  • Any other duties assigned
Qualifications:
  • Degree in Arts & Social Sciences / Business / Communications / Marketing / Media / Social Services.
  • Minimum 10 years' relevant working experience, with 5 years in a leadership position.
  • Experience and knowledge of cultivating and stewarding donors and organizing fundraising events.
  • Solid project management skills.
  • Preferably with experience in budgeting for fundraising, donor relations and communications activities.
  • Knowledge of fundraising software and CRM systems is a plus.
