The Baggage Development and Transformation team drives key strategic initiatives for digitalisation, automation, and organisation projects that will shape the future of Changi Airport's Baggage Operations, as well as oversee the development of baggage systems and infrastructure projects through working closely with internal and external airport stakeholders. This role reports to the team lead of the Baggage Development and Transformation team:
  • You will represent the division and formulate baggage operations requirements for the design and development of the systems, concept of operations, and infrastructure for Terminal 5
  • You will develop future baggage automation concepts for T5, conduct proof of concept trials, and recommend projects for implementation
  • You will drive the development and obtain approvals from senior management for strategic baggage initiatives for T5
  • You will drive the change management and implementation of the key projects to enable proactive management of baggage via data driven capabilities, improve operational processes, and passenger experience in Changi Airport
  • You will organise and manage regular steering committee meetings and updates to senior management to track the progress of Baggage Development and Transformation
Requirements:
  • Good degree in any discipline with 1-3 years of relevant working experience preferably in project management or change management roles. Candidates with no experience are welcomed to apply
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to interact with a diverse group of both senior management and operations staff
  • Good critical reasoning, project management and stakeholder management skills
  • Highly driven, independent, resourceful, and adaptable team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Enjoys problem-solving and challenging the status quo
  • Strong proficiency in written communications, data analysis, and the curation and creation of presentations
  • Possess strong interest and passion in the aviation industry
