We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. This role is responsible for managing incoming funds, preparing accurate financial reports, and ensuring timely follow-ups on export documentation, customer payments, and bank transactions. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Incoming Funds Reporting:
  • Prepare and send daily incoming funds reports for bulk and container transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting to management.
  1. Accounts Receivable Reporting:
  • Prepared and maintained various accounts receivable reports, including aging reports, cash flow forecasts, and other financial metrics for management review.
  1. Export Documentation Follow-Up:
  • Collaborate with internal departments to monitor the status of export negotiations and ensure timely dispatch of export documents, keeping operations smooth and efficient.
  1. Bank Transactions Follow-Up:
  • Work closely with banks to ensure that funds are credited as per the agreed value date, promptly resolving any discrepancies.
  1. Overdue Payment Support:
  • Provide backup and support for following up with customers and banks on overdue payments, ensuring timely collections and minimizing the risk of bad debts.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related financial role.
  • Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to prepare detailed financial reports and analyze cash flow data.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate with internal teams and external partners (banks and customers).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in handling export transactions and working with international banking.
  • Understanding of cash flow forecasting, aging reports, and payment reconciliation processes.
  • Previous experience in customer relations or collections.
