As a Coating Process Engineer, you will be part of the team to involve in develop, process and test materials used in manufacturing. In this exciting role, you will handle on the following scope

Key Responsibilities:

  • Optical Thin Film Coating design to meet customer requirement
  • Researching, developing and optimizing thin film coating processes geared toward solving specific customer problems and needs.
  • Participate in NPI project management
  • Improve Process Yields / Efficiency for NPI and MP products
  • Engage internal and external parties to deliver project requirements
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant internal procedures and policies and quality system

Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Degree Bachelor/Master of Physics, Materials Science or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years working experience in Thin film coating related field
  • Experience in using optical design software such as MacLeod & Film Star, etc.
  • Hands on experience in PVD Coaters preferred
  • Possess strong leadership qualities and be able to drive project teams in ensuring set time lines, cost and quality expectations are met.
  • Excellent Communication Skills & Driven to achieve excellence
  • Innovative and willingness to experiment with a positive mindset
  • Knowledge in SPC and Design of Experiment is an advantage
