About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Investor Relations Intern to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in venture capital fundraising, investor relationship management, and portfolio support within a leading early-stage investment firm in the Asia-Pacific region. This includes assisting with identification of new leads and the management of CRM systems, onboarding of investors, as well as working closely to drive fundraising and marketing initiatives across our equity and credit focused strategies. You will also spend a percentage of your time on firm-building activities.
Objectives of the Role
- Support the Investor Relations team with fundraising and client relationship management
- Assist with identification of new investor leads and management of CRM systems
- Prepare materials for investor meetings, take detailed notes, and ensure follow-up actions are executed
- Help with investor onboarding processes and documentation
- Support marketing initiatives across different investment strategies
- Improve systems and processes, including implementation of low-code/no-code tools
- Conduct due diligence on potential investors, including drafting communications and market analysis
- Handle investor inquiries and assist with communication preparation
- Participate in firm-building initiatives to strengthen January Capital's market position
Pre-requisites
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree from a well-regarded tertiary institution (sophomore to final year undergraduates or postgraduates)
- Available from May - August 2025
- Passionate about technology with a desire to build a meaningful industry network
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to present complex information clearly
- Fast learner who can work autonomously, juggle multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior experience in sales, marketing, or compliance is a plus
- Only Singaporean citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents will be considered
