Hudson Recruitment is partnering with a leading global logistics and supply chain company to hire a Senior Accountant (GL & Fixed Assets). This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional to join a dynamic team, driving financial accuracy, compliance, and process improvements in a fast-paced environment.
About the Role:
As the Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in financial accounting, reporting, and fixed asset management. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal controls while streamlining accounting processes for enhanced efficiency and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate recording of transactions in line with accounting standards for monthly and annual financial close processes.
- Prepare cash flow statements and perform general ledger and bank reconciliations.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and analysis.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with fixed asset policies, including asset capitalization and disposal.
- Monitor capital work-in-progress (CWIP) and ensure timely capitalization of completed projects.
- Oversee periodic and annual physical verification of fixed assets, ensuring accurate reconciliation and reporting.
- Ensure adherence to relevant accounting policies, including the implementation of new Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS(I)).
- Identify and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and financial controls.
- Manage ad-hoc duties and financial projects as needed.
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in general ledger and fixed asset accounting, or experience in a Big 4 audit firm.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, SFRS(I) standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
