Our client is a Sheet Metal Fabrication establishment with a developed manufacturing team in Precision Metal Fabrication. The company is expanding its business with a new manufacturing plant to allocate capacity for new businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead the Engineering department of the company.
  • Liaise with customer for NPI/DFM and meet the given time frame.
  • Provide new project process costing for Sales department.
  • Responsible for assisting the GM/DGM to solve and improve production technical or process issues.
  • Provide technical guidance in terms of process improvement and new project introduction for internal and external customers.
  • Responsible for new introduction development and technical innovation during the trial production of new processes, new tooling and new materials.
  • Responsible for technical training for subordinates to improve staff skills.

Experience Required

  • Min. 3 years of work experience as an Engineering Manager.
  • At least a Diploma in related fields.
  • Can analyse and solve the process and quality problems in the production of products.
  • Have the ability to solve the technical problems in product manufacturing process, product testing and product use.
  • Able to supervise, guide and train subordinates, and correctly handle communication and coordination between departments.
  • Have IE knowledge and skills.
  • Familiar with Company ISO9001, IATF16949, ISO14001, ISO45001, RBA and other management system requirements, familiar with risk and opportunity assessment.
  • Familiar with the five tools and anti-error tool application.
  • Assignment in Suzhou China.
Education/Qualification
  • Tertiary Certification in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
