
Digital Communications Manager
The Digital Communications Manager will lead the development and execution of digital communication strategies to amplify the Foundation's mission and engage with stakeholders, including donors, beneficiaries, volunteers, and the general public.
This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, creativity, and hands-on execution to drive awareness and support for the Foundation's programs and initiatives.
This position will be on a 6-month renewable contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement comprehensive digital communication strategies to enhance the Foundation's online presence and engagement.
- Monitor and analyze digital trends and best practices to ensure the Foundation’s digital communications are current and effective.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align digital strategies with organizational goals and program objectives.
Content Creation and Management:
- Lead the creation, curation, and management of high-quality digital content, including website content, social media posts, blogs, videos, and email campaigns.
- Oversee the design and production of digital materials to ensure consistent branding and messaging.
- Manage and update the Foundation’s website, ensuring content is accurate, engaging, and SEO-friendly.
Social Media and Community Engagement:
- Develop and execute social media strategies to increase engagement and grow the Foundation’s online community.
- Manage social media accounts, including content scheduling, posting, and interaction with followers.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and opportunities for engagement.
Email Marketing and CRM:
- Design and implement email marketing campaigns to support fundraising, event promotion, and stakeholder communications.
- Utilize CRM tools to segment audiences, track engagement, and analyze campaign performance.
- Optimize email marketing strategies based on data-driven insights and best practices.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Track and analyze key performance metrics for digital communications initiatives.
- Provide regular reports on digital communications performance, including insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Utilize analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of digital campaigns and inform future strategies.
Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure cohesive messaging across all channels.
- Coordinate with program teams to highlight success stories, events, and initiatives through digital platforms.
- Liaise with external partners, vendors, and agencies as needed for digital communications projects.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in digital communications, social media management, content creation, or related roles.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful digital communication strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in digital tools and platforms, including content management systems (CMS), social media management tools, email marketing software, and analytics tools.
- Creative and strategic thinker with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Passion for the mission of the Tsao Foundation and a commitment to enhancing the lives of older adults.
Preferred Qualities:
- Experience in the non-profit sector or a similar mission-driven organization.
- Knowledge of aging and eldercare issues.
- Passion for the mission and values of the Tsao Foundation.
- Ability to communicate and build relationships with colleagues from various local sites to translate their requirements into engaging communications.
- The ability to work on a number of tasks and work to tight deadlines.
