What The Role Is

What You Will Be Working On
Lead a team for the following:
Relevant qualifications in Accounting or equivalent with CA certification preferred.

What You Will Be Working On
Lead a team for the following:
- Operating Expenditure Budget – responsible for OOE budget allocation and management, budget submission to BOG and MOE
- Capital Budget Management- responsible for management of IT and FE budget and usage, project funded from NYP reserves and MOE capital funding
- Investment – manage the investment of NYP funds, purchase of bonds, monthly reporting and secretariat for Investment Committee
- Financial reporting – reporting to NYP management, BOG and statutory reporting
- Grant Claims – submission of recurrent and development grant claims to MOE
- Accounts Payable - management of the payment to suppliers, prepayment, related deposit and bank reconciliation
- Fixed Asset management - manage the NYP assets including asset verification, additions and write-off
- General Receipts – manage money received for general purposes and overseas travel
- Miscellaneous Payment – payment and refunds to NYP students
- Ad-hoc reporting – submission to MOE, Department of Statistics, Govtech etc
- Lead the record management in Finance
- Liaison with department and auditor for statutory audit
