Assistant Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble mechanical component from module level to machine level, performing time adjustment and machine testing process
• Test functional performance of sub-module assemblies and completed assemblies.
• Ensure assembly job completion within given schedule and budget.
• Provide valuable technical feedback to superintendent for improvement or if issues arises
• Propose Engineering Change Request where applicable.
• Constantly provide project status update to superintendent
• Perform material receiving to ensure parts received according to requirement
• Participate in quality and cost improvement
• Other duties as and when assigned.

Requirements / Qualifications:

• Diploma, NTC 2/3, ITC, ITE or equivalent (Mechanical or Mechatronic)
• Min. 2 years relevant experience in equipment/machine/tool assembly
• Proficient in interpreting requirement for assembly and detail drawings.
• Able to perform assigned tasks independently or through team activities.
• Craftsman skill and good workshop practice including 5S discipline would be added advantage
• Self-motivated, highly resourceful and organized.
