Overall Job Purpose:

As a key member of the team, your primary responsibilities are to manage the full spectrum of payroll administration performed by the payroll outsource team to ensure timely and accurate compensation payment is made to employees. You are also required to handle follow-up after each pay run.

Furthermore, you will play a crucial role in supporting in the annual manpower budget exercise for the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the outsource payroll team in the monthly payroll operations, which includes sampling to verify the accuracy of payments
  • Managing & reviewing all payroll processes
  • Handling all payroll matters, eg reconciliation, cost centre charging, staff cost recovery etc
  • Generating various payroll reports for monthly reporting, audits, insurance, surveys, policy reviews, etc
  • Preparing budget assumptions and templates for the annual manpower budget exercise.
  • Analysing budget variances and providing forecast of manpower budget utilisation.

Job Requirements

  • Have a degree in human resource management or equivalent with at least 5 years of relevant working experience.
  • Experience in handling payroll using Workday and Prosoft will be an added advantage.
  • Be analytical, meticulous and numerical, and be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Be self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
