Qualifications
- Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
- Professional Experience: Proven experience in corporate finance management, ideally with a banking background and a strong understanding of financial markets and regulations. Prior experience in the shipping industry is highly desirable, with a strong understanding of sector-specific financial practices and challenges.
- Leadership & Negotiation Skills: Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills, capable of managing relationships with external stakeholders, including banks and regulatory bodies.
- Proactive & Strategic: A proactive, strategic thinker with the ability to navigate complex financial landscapes, mitigate risks, and contribute to the company’s overall financial health.
