Job Responsibilities
- Handle daily production escalation. Provide strong technical support to production team to resolve issues and ensure meeting planned shipment schedule.
- Ability to read technical drawings, understand BOMs, and use a variety of precision testing and measuring Instruments
- Provide solution to CSE (customer support engineer) when there is field escalation.
- Dispose non-conformance products and work closely with supplier on the quality and process continuous improvement.
- Response to failure analysis and provide comprehensive analysis report to field support team or customers. Provide and implement the corrective action to fix the problem in systematic way.
- Work with material team on the product cost reduction, EOL component replacement, relocation of manufacturing site, and any engineering support needed from them.
- Understand Manufacturing process and propose/create tooling to improve quality and cycle time
- Creating ECO (Engineering Change Orders), Structuring BOMs and creating test and assembly documentation as needed
- Must possess strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to support technical issues, set-up experiments, and perform data analysis
- Involve in product development and evaluate the design for manufacturability and reliability by participating in design reviews and the assembly of the prototype units
- Provide feedback on design changes by working closely with Development Engineering teams (M.E. and E.E. teams.)
- Work with suppliers to resolve component/yield/part problems in a timely manner and assist purchasing teams in driving supplier quality improvements and cost reductions efforts.
- Good understanding of optical, mechanical, electrical, and software components involved in the design and development of motion system, semiconductor inspection equipment or equivalent is a plus
- Perform First Article qualifications for parts and EOL components.
- Provide strong technical support to production team to resolve issues and ensure on time shipment
Job Requirements
- Master’s degree/Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with 2 or more years of experience in manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience in assembly, alignment, calibration, sub-system integration, and testing of wafer inspection system.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to support technical issues, set-up experiments, and perform data analysis.
- Good understanding of mechanical/electrical components involved in the design and development of semiconductor inspection equipment or equivalent is a plus
- Experience in semiconductor equipment industry /manufacturing is preferred.
- Team player with good writing and verbal communication skills
- Able to work under pressure, well planning to schedules.
- Able to travel up to 20% time
