Roles and responsibilities
- Establish inspection plans and procedures for First Article Inspections (FAI) on new parts.
-Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) and prepare FAI reports for new parts, ensuring compliance with customer requirements.
-Liaise with customers for FAI approval, customer audits, and other quality-related matters.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process-related quality concerns.
-Organize and review quality records collected daily, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Develop, implement, and maintain the calibration program for inspection, measuring, and test equipment to ensure compliance and accuracy.
-Ensure the timely resolution of quality issues, including corrective actions and preventive actions.
- Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with
company goals and standards.
- Monitor and assist with the achievement of quality objectives and support internal audits.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Mechanical/Precision Engineering or a related field, or equivalent
experience.
-Proficient in operating and programming CMM (DCC) for dimensional inspections.
-Experience with other inspection equipment, including video inspection systems.
- Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and a solid understanding of Geometric
Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Proficient in written and spoken English, with strong communication skills.
-Ability to work collaboratively in a team and maintain positive communication with
cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) is required.
-Preferably 2-3 years of experience in quality assurance, with a preference for experience in precision machining industries.
