Get to Know the Role
As a Financial Analyst, you are responsible for financial planning and analysis (FP&A), management reporting, and budgeting to support strategic decision-making. This role ensures accurate and timely financial reporting, provides insights on business performance, and contributes to digital transformation initiatives.
Essential Responsibilities
Management Reporting
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, including Profit & Loss (P&L), Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.
- Conduct mid-month forecasts and quarterly financial reporting.
- Perform variance analysis and provide financial insights to Management.
- Ensure timely submission of financial reports to HQ.
Annual Planning and Budgeting
- Collaborate with Heads of Departments (HODs) and operations to gather data for annual plans and quarterly budgets.
- Organize internal management reviews and prepare and submit budget reports to HQ.
Revenue and Gross Margin Analysis
- Analyze sales mix by customer, product grade, and pricing to assess profitability.
- Provide gross margin insights and identify areas for improvement.
- Support management in optimizing the sales mix to enhance overall profitability.
- Assist with standard costing and variance analysis.
FP&A System Implementation
- Contribute to digitalization initiatives, including the implementation of Anaplan FP&A solutions.
- Collaborate with consultants, procurement, and HODs to enhance budget control processes.
Capex Management
- Maintain and monitor the five-year Capex plan and track project progress.
- Drive the implementation and enhancement of digital solutions for Capex tracking.
Ad-hoc Projects & Strategic Initiatives
- Assist management in special initiatives related to business growth, cost optimization, and financial strategy.
- Provide support for various financial projects and strategic initiatives as required.
Skills and Competencies Profile
- A professional accountancy qualification (University Degree, ACCA) is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in management reporting and/or FP&A functions.
- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles.
- Prior experience with ERP systems is preferred, especially SAP, Dynamics 365, and Anaplan.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Advanced Excel and Power BI.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Possesses a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the discipline to meet reporting deadlines.
