· Maintains laboratory equipment performance by making quality criteria; developing protocols; certifying instrument performance; arranging equipment replacement, inspection and repair, and mending.

· Maintains laboratory supplies inventory by holding back stock to set inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.

· Maintains laboratory productivity by monitoring the workload of functional areas; identifying peak and slack periods; making operational or staffing adjustments. Maintain smooth laboratory workflow.

· Assist with laboratory administrative duties.

· Lab Maintenance usually involves inspection, cleaning, calibration, testing and repair of lab /and or equipment; and organization and cleaning of the lab, including preparation and storage rooms.
