A Japanese based multinational firm in the manufacturing industry is looking to hire an AP Accountant.
The Role
The role, reporting to the Finance Manager, involves a range of financial and accounts payable responsibilities, including invoice processing, ensuring compliance with internal controls and GST/VAT tax requirements, monthly and quarterly supplier reconciliations, and employee reimbursement validation. The incumbent will build strong relationships with procurement and vendors to ensure timely payments, and manage timely record retention. Additionally, the role includes liaising with internal and external auditors, participating in process improvement initiatives, and supporting operational enhancements.
Your Profile
You should have at least a Diploma in Accountancy, with minimum 3 years of relevant experience in accounts payable. Prior experience in SAP / Oracle is highly preferred.
