Responsibilities:

  • In-charge overall ship agency operations, port and immigration formalities on clearance of appointment vessel entering and leaving.
  • Ensure timely and full compliance of all statutory formalities and mandatory declarations as required by the various authorities and government agencies.
  • Oversees the end-to-end operations of the vessels and to ensure the highest level of service delivery.
  • Crew changes formalities and procedure.
  • Port call planning and execution in the best interest of Principals / Ship Master.
  • Proactive in monitoring port call progress, timely updating and maintain close communication with all stakeholders.
  • Willing to work on odd hours and public holidays and board vessel if required.
  • Submit Port disbursement accounts, timely line up report and final report to Principals / Ship Master.
  • Lead the operations team.
  • Oversee implementation of workflow improvements to improve efficiency.
  • Any other duties assigned by the Operations Manager and Management.

Requirement

  • 'N' Levels and above
  • Ability to address problems with a positive attitude
  • Demonstrates initiative and responsibility
  • Fluent in English and basic Microsoft Office skills
  • Familiar with Port & local Authorities regulations, procedures and governing tariffs
