Quantity Surveyor (min 2 yrs) – Pre Contract Stage
Responsibilities:
- Pre-contract works including studying tender documents and drawings.
- Quantity taking-off, preparation of Bill of Quantities and cost comparison for various work
- Source suppliers & sub-contractors. Evaluate quotations. Ensure contractual compliance of tender submission.
- Preparation of documents for PQ / Tender Submissions and Post Tender Clarifications.
- Communicates effectively with a wide range of stakeholders and contractors both verbally and in written notices eg. extension-of-time (EOT) , pre/post tender clarifications, etc.
- Will be involved in different types of tenders eg. Civil & Infrastructure Projects, MRT Projects, Airport Projects, Utilities Projects etc.
Quantity Surveyor - Post Contract Stage
Responsibilities:
- Understand and reasonably interpret contract document & drawing
- Understand contract provision thoroughly and advise the risk/areas of concern
- To perform measurement and cost breakdown
- To prepare payment certification to sub-contractor/ supplier
- To prepare payment claim to client
- To identify and evaluate variation work
Requirements:
- Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or equivalent
- Able to work in a team and support the tenders/projects in contract administration and cost control.
- Able to read/understand/execute work based on construction drawings
- Good communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Analytical and meticulous with strong interpersonal and good negotiation skill.
- A dynamic, positive and forward thinking personality will be essential
- Ability to work with tight deadlines will be an added advantage
