Quantity Surveyor (min 2 yrs) – Pre Contract Stage

Responsibilities:

  • Pre-contract works including studying tender documents and drawings.
  • Quantity taking-off, preparation of Bill of Quantities and cost comparison for various work
  • Source suppliers & sub-contractors. Evaluate quotations. Ensure contractual compliance of tender submission.
  • Preparation of documents for PQ / Tender Submissions and Post Tender Clarifications.
  • Communicates effectively with a wide range of stakeholders and contractors both verbally and in written notices eg. extension-of-time (EOT) , pre/post tender clarifications, etc.
  • Will be involved in different types of tenders eg. Civil & Infrastructure Projects, MRT Projects, Airport Projects, Utilities Projects etc.

Quantity Surveyor - Post Contract Stage

Responsibilities:

  • Understand and reasonably interpret contract document & drawing
  • Understand contract provision thoroughly and advise the risk/areas of concern
  • To perform measurement and cost breakdown
  • To prepare payment certification to sub-contractor/ supplier
  • To prepare payment claim to client
  • To identify and evaluate variation work

Requirements:

  • Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or equivalent
  • Able to work in a team and support the tenders/projects in contract administration and cost control.
  • Able to read/understand/execute work based on construction drawings
  • Good communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Analytical and meticulous with strong interpersonal and good negotiation skill.
  • A dynamic, positive and forward thinking personality will be essential
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines will be an added advantage
