Job Description

[Gasoil & Fuel Oil]

• Understanding global oil flows
• Monitoring supply and demand fundamentals
• Staying on top of macro events that impact the oil market
• Present key findings to the trading team

[Crude Oil]

• Maintain and optimise daily data updates including Python scripts, PowerQuery pulls, and database archival

• Set up and automate new data pulls from various information sources such as APIs, Excel/CSV files, Excel add-ins and web scraping

• Build, maintain and enhance Power BI Dashboards based on trading desk requirements

Requirements

• Be in at least second year, preferably third year, of undergraduate studies
• Be able to work independently
• Be fast and decisive to make insightful interpretations
• Have strong understanding of macroeconomics

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Strong coding ability and familiarity with data management best practices preferred

• Familiarity with PowerQuery and PowerBI is a plus
• Be a strong communicator in both English and Mandarin
• Ability to commit from 19 May 2025 to 31 Dec 2025.
