Role and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee legal matters for India , providing occasional support for other Asia-Pacific (APAC) countries as needed.
  • Advise leadership on legal compliance related to corporate and business activities.
  • Conduct legal and regulatory research, providing support and analysis.
  • Offer professional advice on managing disputes, litigation, regulatory issues, and other contentious matters.
  • Draft and review a comprehensive range of commercial and legal documents.
  • Translate legal documents and company correspondence as required.
  • Stay updated on new laws and regulations that may impact the company.
  • Liaise with external professionals and regulatory bodies.
  • Deliver internal training on legal issues and risk management.
  • Manage the filing and organization of correspondence and documents.
  • Participate in various ad hoc assignments as needed.

To Qualify

  • A recognized degree in Law
  • Significant corporate experience with min 2 -5 years of legal experience gained in-house or in practice with a reputable law firm.
  • Ability to work well under pressure
