Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Sales Director to expand IDC-related businesses in Singapore and surrounding areas, explore market opportunities and develop new customer groups. Candidates need to be familiar with the IDC industry and its solutions, have deep customer resources and business development capabilities, and help the company expand its market share.
Job Responsibilities
1. Business Development
• Develop and maintain IDC business in Singapore and surrounding areas, including data center services (such as equipment installation and commissioning, integrated cabling, etc.), network solutions and other related services.
• Deeply explore customer needs and expand target customer groups, including large technology companies (such as Tencent, ByteDance, Alibaba), global operators (such as CMI, CTG, CUG), and data center companies (such as Equinix, STT, GDS, etc.).
2. Customer Relationship Management
• Establish and maintain long-term business relationships with potential customers and partners, deeply understand customer business models and provide customized solutions.
• Manage existing customer relationships, promote long-term cooperation, and ensure customer satisfaction.
3. Sales Target Achievement
• Responsible for formulating and completing sales plans and achieving established sales targets.
• Regularly analyze market trends and customer needs, optimize sales strategies and adjust business directions in a timely manner.
4. Industry Cooperation and Ecosystem Development
• Actively participate in industry activities, establish and deepen cooperation with partners (such as equipment suppliers, service providers), and promote ecosystem development.
5. Internal Collaboration and Reporting
• Work closely with internal teams (pre-sales, project delivery, finance, etc.) to ensure that projects are delivered on time and meet customer requirements.
• Report sales progress and market conditions to superiors, and provide key market feedback and business suggestions.
Job Requirements
• Industry Experience:
• At least 5 years of sales experience in IDC-related industries (such as data centers, network equipment, integrated cabling, etc.).
• Familiar with IDC industry ecology and solutions (such as network equipment, data center construction and service delivery).
• Customer Resources:
• Those with resources in the following target customers are preferred:
• Large technology companies: Tencent, ByteDance, Alibaba.
• Global operators: CMI, CTG, CUG.
• Data center companies: Equinix, STT, GDS, BDX Singapore, BDC, etc.
• Sales Skills:
• Able to independently complete pre-sales support, customer demand analysis, quotation and negotiation, and complete the business closed loop from solution to contract.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with cross-cultural communication skills.
• Personal characteristics:
• Strong result orientation, able to bear performance pressure and drive business growth.
• Have a deep understanding of the market in Singapore and surrounding areas, and have a pioneering spirit and keen market insight.
