Server Sales Professional
Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced Server Sales Professional to sell our range of servers to customers across various industries. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of meeting sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Server Sales: Sell servers to customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions. Participate in Government bidding project
2. Customer Engagement: Build relationships with customers, identifying opportunities to upsell, cross-sell and expand market reach
3. Partner Engagement: Build, maintain, and strengthening relationships with partner organizations, such as vendors, suppliers, distributors, or other businesses, to achieve mutually beneficial goals.
4. Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with our server products, including features, benefits, and technical specifications as well as software e.g Microsoft (Windows Server), Red Hat (RHEL, CentOS), VMware (vSphere, ESXi), Citrix (XenServer).
5. Competitor Analysis: Monitor competitor activity, identifying market trends and opportunities.
6. Sales Forecasting: Accurately forecast sales performance, providing regular updates to management.
7. Collaboration: Work closely with server partners, software partners, internal teams, including marketing, technical support, and sales engineering.
Requirements:
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field.
2. Experience: 3 ~ 5+ years of experience in server sales or related field.
3. Technical Skills: Basic understanding of server architecture, operating systems, and virtualization.
4. Soft Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, problem-solving skills and presentation.
Nice to Have:
1. Industry Certifications: Certifications like CompTIA Server+, Cisco UCS, or VMware VSP.
2. Sales Training: Completion of sales training programs, such as SPIN selling or Challenger Sales.
3. Cloud Experience: Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $6,000.00 - $8,000.00 per month
