This candidate will be liaising with counterparts and clients based in the Philippines, hence having the ability to speak Tagalog is a must.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide local insights – identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats relevant for company success in Philippines
  • Explore, identify and execute on strategic growth opportunities Ensure the company's of apps is fully functional and well adapted to be successful in Philippines
  • Partner with the analytics organization to validate key findings with data
  • Drive solutions with product management for identified market specific product issues and gaps
  • Track progress of market specific product improvements and measure impact
  • Leverage usability studies, research and market analysis to drive market specific product insights into execution
  • Understand company’s strategic and competitive position in the region and work to improve it

Requirements:

  • Having the ability to speak Tagalog is a must for the purpose of liaising with stakeholders and clients based in the Philippines.
  • Extensive knowledge of Philippines landscape of applications in a variety of use cases e.g. commerce, messaging, digital payments and consumer technology
  • 5+ years in product management or product marketing in digital products or tech companies
  • Experienced partnering with product management or product growth at a global scale
  • Experience with social products, technologies and platforms is strongly desired
  • Experience influencing multiple stakeholders at a global scale
  • Creative, resourceful, detail-oriented, highly organized, hands-on and a self starter
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Self-driven, comfortable with a fast-paced, always-on, highly ambiguous environment
  • Understanding of the technical architecture of complex and highly scalable web and mobile applications
  • BA/BS in Computer Science, engineering or related technical field or equivalent working experience
