
Corporate Secretary Cum Accountant
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Corporate Secretary cum Accountant to join our workforce and provide support to all our clients.
Major Duties And Responsibilities
Corporate Secretary
Assisting clients with incorporation of companies
Perform Customer Due Diligence and KYC Checks
Attend day-to-day corporate secretariat duties for clients eg. drafting directors and shareholders resolutions, filing returns including change of directors and officers, annual returns, economic substance returns with ACRA Bizfile/Registered Agents.
Assist clients with corporate secretarial matters, ensuring compliance with ACRA regulations.
Ensure timely submission of Annual Returns and other statutory filings with ACRA.
Coordinate board meetings, including agenda preparation and documentation.
Maintain statutory registers and records as required by regulations.
Handle share transactions, including transfers and issuances.
Sending reminders to clients for filing deadlines,
Maintain clients records in the software.
Assist clients in creating Corp Pass access
Sending invoices for transaction services performed
Monitor billings and renewals for client services
Work closely with all stakeholders to complete the tasks assigned
Involved in system implementation for Corp Sec software.
Undertake any other jobs and duties may be assigned by superiors from time to time.
Accounts
Ensure timely closing of clients’ books
Coordinate with the respective clients for any transaction issues
Prepare and review the clients’ financial report
Ensure all the documents are saved in accounting system
Prepare GST report and file GST through IRAS portal, if any.
Prepare Financial statement and Tax computation for clients
Experience, Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum Diploma or Certificate in Corporate Secretariat practice or equivalent.
- Individuals pursuing a chartered secretary (Institute of Chartered Secretaries Association) qualification may also apply.
- Minimum 2 - 5 years’ relevant experience gained as a corporate secretary and/or accountant
- Prior experience in client servicing environment is an advantage
- Knowledge of using accounting software such as Xero
- Meticulous, take initiative, reliable and resourceful.
- Work professionally with stakeholders.
- Independent and work with minimal supervision.
