Human Resource Executive (Shipping/Maritime)

Our client is a leading European Shipowner and are expanding rapidly in the region. They are currently looking to hire a human resource executive to join their expanding team and working closely with the leadership team in Singapore to help in various aspects of HR.

Areas of Responsibility:

HR Business Partnering:

  • Provide HR support the field staff, addressing inquiries related to claims, absences, and other HR matters.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to facilitate the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Partner with managers to develop and implement the annual training plan.

HR Operations:

  • Assist with payroll processing for Company field staff (approximately 80 employees).
  • Provide coverage for Singapore payroll as needed.
  • Support HR administrative tasks, including work pass applications and other related duties.

Requirements:

  • Ideally, 3 to 4 years of HR experience, with a background in shipping being a distinct advantage.
  • A proactive individual willing to assist with HR administrative work, while demonstrating the ambition to grow within the team.
  • A mature and professional approach to work.
