Human Resource Executive (Shipping/Maritime)
Our client is a leading European Shipowner and are expanding rapidly in the region. They are currently looking to hire a human resource executive to join their expanding team and working closely with the leadership team in Singapore to help in various aspects of HR.
Areas of Responsibility:
HR Business Partnering:
- Provide HR support the field staff, addressing inquiries related to claims, absences, and other HR matters.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to facilitate the onboarding process for new hires.
- Partner with managers to develop and implement the annual training plan.
HR Operations:
- Assist with payroll processing for Company field staff (approximately 80 employees).
- Provide coverage for Singapore payroll as needed.
- Support HR administrative tasks, including work pass applications and other related duties.
Requirements:
- Ideally, 3 to 4 years of HR experience, with a background in shipping being a distinct advantage.
- A proactive individual willing to assist with HR administrative work, while demonstrating the ambition to grow within the team.
- A mature and professional approach to work.
