Key Responsibilities
- Receive and prepare drawings and bill-of-material (BOM) from engineering department for loading
- Prepare and facilitate raising purchase requisition
- Update parts status dashboard
- Receive parts from logistics, ensure correct parts and their quantities, and signed of the invoice and delivery order (DO)
- Sort out parts to various projects and issue parts to assembly department
- Submit signed invoice and DO to finance department
- Manage supplier's reject and replacement parts
- Coordinate with project manager and buyer to ensure parts on-time-delivery (OTD) according to project schedule
- Manage and control the spare parts, hardwares and consumeables inventory
- Create new part numbers, new work order numbers and project numbers
- Maintain KPIs and present to management
- Perform works as and when assigned
- ITE or Diploma in Materials Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or equivalent
- At least 1-2 years in Material Planning role within the manufacturing industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritise and work in tight deadline
- Independent, resourceful, proactive, well organised and attentive to details with strong drive and initiative
- Familiar with ERP workflow
