Trade Operations Executive
· Oversee the end-to-end execution of international trade transactions, ensuring compliance with trade agreements, regulations, and company policies.
· Prepare and manage all required trade documentation, including invoices, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and letters of credit. Ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
· Coordinate the logistics and shipping of goods, working with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation.
· Identify and assess risks associated with trade operations, including currency fluctuations, geopolitical issues, and transportation risks. Implement strategies to mitigate these risks.
· Manager letters of credit, and ensure timely settlement of trade transactions.
· Supplier and Customer Relations: Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders involved in trade operations.
· Compliance: Stay up-to-date with international trade regulations, sanctions, and compliance requirements. Ensure all trade activities adhere to relevant laws and regulations.
· Incoterms Management: Determine and negotiate Incoterms for each transaction, clearly defining responsibilities and terms of delivery between buyers and sellers.
· Quality Control: oversee quality control measures to ensure that traded goods meet specified standards and customer requirements.
· Facilitate effective communication between internal teams and external partners involved in the trade process.
· Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the trade process, including disputes, delays, or quality concerns.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Additional certifications in international trade or logistics are a plus.
· Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in trade operations, international logistics, or a related field. Experience with various trade finance instruments is desirable.
· In-depth understanding of international trade regulations, documentation requirements, and logistics processes. Familiarity with trade finance instruments and risk management.
· Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in handling trade documentation and ensuring compliance.
· The ideal candidate should have robust analytical and problem-solving skills, be a collaborative team player, demonstrate adaptability to changing market conditions, regulations, and business requirements, and exhibit proficiency in technology.
