About the Role:

Strategic Planning

Team Leadership

Build, lead, and manage a high-performing IT team, setting departmental goals and overseeing performance management processes. Foster a collaborative culture that emphasizes accountability and continuous improvement. Supervise section heads to ensure optimal resource allocation and alignment with departmental goals.

Compliance and Risk Management

Establish frameworks to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and effectively manage IT risks. Coordinate audits and assessments to verify adherence to policies and best practices.

Decision Support

Leverage data insights to support business decision-making, driving operational efficiency and advancing strategic initiatives.

Project Oversight

Manage IT projects across sections, ensuring they are delivered on schedule and within budget.

IT Service Management

Implement IT service management practices to enhance service delivery and boost user satisfaction. Monitor service performance and drive initiatives for continuous improvement.

Financial Management

Oversee the IT budget, track expenditures, and identify opportunities for cost optimization. Develop IT procurement strategies to ensure resource allocation is efficient and delays are minimized.

Policy Development

Collaborate in the creation and refinement of IT policies and standards to maintain quality and compliance across all activities.

Perform any other tasks assigned by management.

About the Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience: At least 10 years in IT management within the financial industry, including 5 years in a leadership role managing IT operations, strategy, and security.

Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud solutions, and data management practices.

Leadership Skills: Proven experience in managing teams, talent development, and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Analytical Skills: Ability to utilize data insights to drive decision-making, enhance performance, and support business objectives.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.

Certifications (Preferred): ITIL, CISSP, CISM, PMP, or other relevant industry certifications.
