Beside teaching, we are also a music events organiser. Students will have their talents inspired with performance opportunities on a professional stage, from music concerts, masterclasses, camps to competitions, all year around.

Figner Waltz Music is also the exclusive dealer of high-end piano brands "Estonia" and "Schulze Pollmann" in Singapore.

Job Summary

The violin teacher need to conduct violin lessons (1 to 1) to our students (Beginner to Diploma Level of all ages). Help them to enhance both their performance skills and theory knowledge at the same time, and prepare the ABRSM examination and other performance for them if needed.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Work with director/ other teachers for the curriculum design.
  • Teach violin lessons.
  • Communicate with parents about the progress of the students.
  • Answer the questions and enquiries raised by visitors and students.
  • Help students to prepare for ABRSM examination.
  • Prepare for concerts or competitions.
  • Having regular meetings with director and other teachers.
  • Other works appointed by director.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Familiar with ABRSM examination.
  • Must be patience and nice to students.
  • Good communication skill needed.
  • Be responsible and able to work in a team.
  • At least 3 days work in a week, include 1 day in weekend.
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Music/Performing Arts Studies or equivalent.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in the east area.
  • No working experience required, however 1 year or more teaching experience is preferred.
  • Multiple instruments proficiency are highly welcomed.
  • English speaking required. Multilingual is preferred.
