-The Opportunity:Adecco is partnering with a client specializing in comprehensive lifecycle services for ships, machinery, and power plants. Established in 2016, the company offers a range of services, including maintenance, repair, retrofitting, and performance optimization, ensuring that vessels and equipment operate efficiently throughout their lifespan.As a Finance & Accounting Manager (Korean Speaking), you will oversee financial accounting, reporting, cost analysis, and SAP CO, ensuring compliance, budgeting, and profitability while managing intercompany transactions, audits, and financial planning.
  • Work location: Central
  • Work hours: Mon-Fri, 9am to 6pm, 30mins early release 1 day per week / Hybrid Work Model (1 day WFH)
  • Salary: up to $6,000 + Allowances (Mobile/Meal) + AWS + VB
The Job:
  • Oversee invoice processing, revenue recognition, fixed asset management, inventory accounting, and financial reporting to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Handle intercompany transactions, billing, collections, and transfer pricing compliance, ensuring proper documentation and reconciliation.
  • Utilize the SAP CO module for cost analysis, budgeting, and profitability assessments to support financial planning and performance management.
  • Contribute to SAP system upgrades and process optimization to enhance financial operations and reporting efficiency.
  • Calculate and manage lease liabilities for new leases, as well as delayed interest calculations in alignment with financial policies.
  • Provide financial data and documentation for internal and external audits while ensuring adherence to regulatory and corporate policies.
  • Maintain relationships with financial institutions, oversee credit facility renewals, and support due diligence processes.
The Talent:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of financial accounting experience.
  • Mandatory experience in SAP, particularly the SAP CO module, for financial analysis and reporting.
  • Fluent in both Korean and English (verbal and written) to effectively communicate with headquarters and internal teams from south korea.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and asset management, with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
